As seen here, the print quality is outstanding, perfectly reproducing the artist's smallest and most delicate brush strokes.

Paintings as unique as The Talavera Collection deserve reproduction of the very highest quality, and that is what has been achieved in this limited edition re-issue, some 80 years on.

The fine art of giclée
The Talavera prints have been created by a fine art printer based in Cornwall, SW England, who specialises in reproducing contemporary work for leading artists and galleries.

The process he uses is giclée printing, a state-of-the-art inkjet technology capable of providing more accurate colours than other means of reproduction. This technology is capable of producing beautifully detailed work, with the vibrancy and intensity of the originals.

The images are generated from ultra high-resolution digital scans and printed with archival-quality inks onto 315g² ‘museum quality’ paper. This combination of genuine Epson inks and top-quality fine art papers now rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatine printing processes. Works of art printed by giclée are now commonplace in museums and leading art galleries.

Guaranteed fade-free for a lifetime
All pictures - whether original oils, watercolours or fine art prints - fade gradually over time. Prolonged exposure to light inevitably degenerates colour pigment in the paint or ink.

However, the advanced inks used in giclée printing are proven to be extraordinarily resistant to fading. Accelerated fade tests in which prints have been exposed for long periods to massively high levels of ultra-violet light have now determined the rate of decomposition.

As a result, giclée prints are guaranteed to be significantly fade-resistant for up to 100 years. No other printed medium can offer this assurance.

Obviously care should still be taken to avoid exposing the print to very strong direct sunlight, excessive heat or damp.
